Memmonics

We are a seed-funded startup developing technology solutions to help with memory problems.  We seek to use the new capabilities and price points that advances in technology enable to develop simple to use and effective tools.  We are especially focused on helping to improve the quality of life for the elderly and their family caregivers.  The family caregivers are stressed to the maximum in balancing their schedule among two working parents, raising children, in addition to providing care for their elderly parents and appreciate a solution that helps improve the quality of life for everyone, save time, and provide a peace of mind.

"My mom has increasingly become unsure of issues we take for granted.  This situation proves troubling for a strong-willed woman who has prided herself on her own independence.

To help her I've purchased an erasable white board and have it where she can easily see it.  I then try to write reminders and information that help her remain oriented on a daily basis.

Because the board has become such an integral part of my Mom's life, I also write other important information, such as when I plan to visit next.  I also indicate if there is something interesting on television that she would like to watch"
